Customer support was decent, but the response time was not as good as it maybe could have been, plus the categories for submitting a support ticket, are far too limited. As is typical with reverse phone lookup services, the ordering part was a breeze and very secure.
Reverse Phone Detective, like the other reverse phone services that we reviewed, only has a database of US numbers, and not international numbers. We could complain about this, but so far there doesn't seem to be a service that supports international numbers as well, and if you are from the US, chances are that you are only looking for a US number anyways.
Anyone who purchases a cheap membership to Reverse Phone Detective can do an unlimited number of searches, however the bad news is that full phone reports are limited to one per customer, and any additional reports must be bought separately. On the other hand it sort of weighs itself out, because with Reverse Phone Detective you also have the option of having your own information removed from any possible records for only $4.95.
A premium membership to Reverse Phone Detective is $39.95 a year, and this is a one time fee. $39.95 is a little more expensive than the other services that we have taken a look at, but the option to remove your own public information for $4.95 is a nice touch. If you don't think that you will need to use the reverse phone service more than once, you can also do a one time, one number report for $14.95
