Area code 310 covers and area of ten counties and a total of seventy-eight cities. The population is well over two point five million people, with whites making up the majority, Hispanics making up a close second in terms of population and then followed by blacks.

It is located and covering western California and blends into Los Angeles on the west side, and it delves into Ventura county just a bit.
